Hello lovely friends! I’m here today to share the tablescape I came up with to transition our dining room from Summer to Fall. I often find that decorating during the transitional periods between seasons is the most challenging. Do I go with summer-y things? Is it too early for pumpkins? I think I’ve found a nice middle ground to honor the last few days of Summer and slowly greet the cool crispness of Fall.

I’m so happy to get back into the blogging swing after a very hectic end of summer for our little family. I’m even happier to be back with some amazing bloggers to show y’all more ways we incorporate vintage items in our homes. This time its all about small storage solutions – crocks, crates, baskets, even trays and tins. Anything that you can use to wrangle items and do it prettily.
One of the things I love about using vintage items is the history they carry. I’m lucky enough to have several family heirlooms so I know their history by heart. I feel like I’m honoring the memories of those who loved these items by using them. Even if its in a different way than they were originally intended.
