Happy Spring, y’all! After all of the craziness we’ve faced over the past few months, Spring and the promise of new beginnings are a very welcome change. Which is why I am so excited to be participating in the Styled for Spring Home Tours put together by Jenna of Wife in Progress. If you’re coming over from Our Crafty Mom, welcome! Don’t you love her gorgeous living room?!

Since our living situation is temporary, we only have the bare minimum of furnishings and decor. That means that sweet and simple was the name of the game for our Spring bedroom. The jumping off point came from these Iris Blue and White Porcelain Lamps that Lamps Plus was kind enough to send us.
The blue and white pattern feels so classic yet so fresh. Its one of my very favorite color combos, and it seemed perfect for this room.
All of our bedroom furniture was provided by our insurance company. I realized a few days in that it was the exact same set Micah and I had in our first “fully furnished” apartment together. Talk about full circle! They also provided linens, but I wasn’t a fan of the cobalt and black combo the comforter and shams had going on. Instead, I snagged this off white linen quilt from Target as a neutral base and stripped the bed down to the white sheets.
The blue euro pillows, grainsack stripe pillows from Homegoods and striped blanket played up the blue and white theme. I tried to stick to basic pieces that layered well and can easily be used in our next home. The sweet embroidered pillow has been living on our couch, but it seemed like the perfect piece to top off the bed.
Since our rental is only a two bedroom, Clara has been bunking with us. She quickly outgrew the small cradle we bought for her to sleep in the night of the fire, so we decided to squeeze in a crib. We purchased the exact same Jenny Lind crib she had in her nursery. It makes me happy to have little pieces of our old home with us, even if they’re new.
The ‘cozy up’ mug came from my sweet friend Brendt’s shop. Its quickly become a favorite of mine! You can head on over to my Instagram for a special discount code in case you want to snag one for yourself.
And no photoshoot would be complete without a few outtakes…. My little assistant was a little less than helpful, but oh so cute. Even when she was tuckered out!
I hope y’all enjoyed this quick tour of our blue and white Spring bedroom. Thank you so much for stopping by!
