First off, I want to say thank you so much for your kind words and love on my last post. Its been a difficult season for our family and that was a very difficult post for me to write. I feel so much better now after putting some of my thoughts and feelings into words, though. So thank you, again, for sticking with me on this journey and always being so supportive!
Now, lets jump into something lighter and more fun – the purpose of today’s post: an inspiration board for our traditional farmhouse living room.
Let me backtrack just a little. Our homeowner’s insurance provided us with a rental, furniture and housewares for four months. If we were rebuilding our home, which we are not, they would continue to provide us with those things for the duration of the rebuild. Right now, we have the condo, fully furnished, until May.
Even though we had everything we needed for our temporary house, it just didn’t feel like home. And I desperately needed something to feel familiar. So, we decided to transform a few of the main areas of our rental with items we chose instead of just leaving all of the rented furniture.
The living room is the hub of our little home, which made it the natural choice for a makeover! I still wanted a farmhouse/cottage vibe, but a little more polished if you will. Enter the traditional farmhouse living room inspiration. It has a similar feel to my blue living room inspiration but with a muuuuuch lower and more realistic price point.
